Hi, I’m Sarah Puckett! Welcome to my corner of the internet.

I am a passionate travel blogger looking to develop my professional writing experience. I am seeking freelancing opportunities in travel, adventure, and nature writing. My travels have taken me to all 7 continents and over 70 countries, and I am currently road-tripping the USA 6 months out of each year since 2021. When I’m not traveling, I am based at home in Colorado.

I have a strong writing and journalism background. At the University of Virginia, where I double-majored in Psychology and Comparative Literature with a Minor in French, I was a feature writer and senior editor for the Health and Sexuality section of Cavalier Daily student-run newspaper, where I gained experience in content development, story pitching, research & interviewing, writing, and editing.

In 2017 I was honored to be a top finalist in the World Nomads 2017 travel writing scholarship. In 2018, I was a finalist in Navigator’s Around the World in 80 Pages travel writing contest, resulting in my entry’s publication in the anthology of finalists. My travel writing has been published on World Nomads, Matador Network, and numerous blogs.

I self-publish to my travel blogs Organized Adventurer and That Colorado Couple regularly, and my travel content on Instagram reaches over 1 million users monthly.

I graduated in 2024 from Harvard with an MA in Creative Writing and Literature.
